September 2021
An Exclusive Web Home Tour was featured in Architectural Digest in the September 2021 issue. The article describes the careful approach taken by Maria Alataris and Vishaan Chakrabarti to give new life to the historic 1925 home originally designed by famed local architect Walter Ratcliffe. The surreal Fornasetti patterns selected stand up to the house's own ornate detailing and modern furniture pieces give a new twist to the grand old home.
September 2023
Architectural Digest published an online article on Craftsman Homes in September 2023 and featured the Elmwood House by maa designs. The cover shot is of the beautiful family room.
January 2014
The At Home feature of the January 31, 2014 Financial Times prominently showcased maa designs most recently completed project, Flatiron Loft as well as client Vishaan Chakrabarti, the architect, urbanist, author and husband. The kitchen, living room, dining room as well as shelving are all photographed as part of the article.
New York Living
October 2006
The October 2006 issue of New York Living Magazine featured maa designs' West 133rd Street project on the front cover. The article described the building's history and features and went on to describe the project as "architecturally-designed with finishes befitting a Tribeca loft". Oculus New York
Spring 2004
The spring 2004 issue of Oculus, the American Institute of Architects New York City Chapter magazine, featured maa designs as part of "New York Next: Faces of the Future" in New York City Architecture. maa designs was also featured in the accompanying exhibition at the Center of Architecture which ran July 1st through August 7th, 2004. Maria Alataris is shown first on the left in the top row of the Magazine's cover.
